Play time is fundamental to your child's early development. Outdoor play can teach your child to think critically, strengthen his/her muscles and bones, and improve his/her social skills.

 

Learn more about your baby by watching for developmental milestones. Smiling, cooing, and babbling are just a few. Your baby will show you many more milestones in how she plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves! Look for your child's milestones regularly and share his progress with the doctor at every well-child visit.

Go on a letter hunt! look for the letters at the store, in books, and on street signs.

Sing silly songs, point out and wiggle baby’s toes, or tell a story about your day to help engage your baby during diaper changing and to ease transitions from one activity to the next.

Did you know that your child begins developing early math skills starting at birth - simply through the daily routines and activities you share together? Understanding measurement concepts - such as size, length, weight, height, and capacity - is one of these skills.

Talk math at the grocery store. Count the food items with you little one as you place them in the cart.
